The Skoda Slavia facelift is set to go on sale in India later this year. The sedan has been spotted testing on several occasions since last year. The most recent spy shots emerge from Pune, where Skoda was conducting a road test last week. The images reveal the Slavia facelift’s interior setup, which was not visible in previous shots. They also give a closer look at the sedan’s front and rear sections.

2026 Skoda Slavia facelift: What to expect?
Like the previous mules, the front and rear sections of the recently spotted test unit of the Skoda Slavia facelift were draped under heavy camouflage, hinting towards significant rework. The undisguised profile of the sedan looked identical to the current model.

The cutouts along the front fascia suggest a new grille similar to the one on the Kushaq facelift. The bumper will be redesigned on the new model. The LED headlamps are also expected to get an update. They will be integrated with LED DRLs and turn indicators. At the back, the design of the jumper and LED tail lamps will be tweaked on the new model. It remains to be seen whether the tail lamps will be connected by a light bar.

The dashboard of the Slavia facelift’s test mule was covered in camouflage. The automaker could change its layout and integrate it with premium soft-touch elements. The rest of the cabin seems to be identical to the current model. Skoda may add new upholstery and colour options. The facelift is expected to retain the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In terms of updates, it could get a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. We also expect it to get a Level 2 ADAS package and a rear seat massage function. Other features like a powered sunroof, an 8-speaker audio system (with a 380W output), ventilated front seating, and more are expected to make the cut.

The Skoda Slavia facelift will remain mechanically unchanged. Like the current model, it will be offered in 2 powertrain options – 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power of 115hp and 175Nm peak torque. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

Final Thoughts
Prices for the current Slavia lineup start at Rs 10 lakh and go up to Rs 18.19 lakh. The facelift model will not demand a significant premium. Upon launch, it will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Honda City in India.
