Citroen India has added a new ‘Comfort’ edition to the Aircross SUV’s lineup. Prices for the Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition start at Rs 9.09 lakh and go up to Rs 11.99 lakh. The special edition model is available in the entry-level You and mid-spec Plus trims. The ‘You Comfort’ trim costs Rs 20,000 more than the base variant. Its ‘Plus’ counterpart does not demand any premium.

The Aircross Comfort Edition gets features like adjustable headrests for front and rear seats, black grained finish on interior trims, beige upholstery, and soft-touch finish and silver highlights on certain trims. The ‘Plus’ pack, available for 8,460, offers features like wireless charging, a reverse camera with guidelines, and door cladding with chrome inserts. It also adds some cosmetic highlights. Meanwhile, the ‘Max’ pack, priced at Rs 40,000, adds features like front and rear dashcams with audio alerts and a JBL sound system with an amplifier.
Other features of the Citroen Aircross include a bezel-less 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also runs Citroen’s Cara AI assistant. This chatbot has a conversational flow to it. It can complete tasks like fetching your flight schedule, car health status, booking status, and more. Buyers can opt for a 360-degree camera at an additional price of Rs 25,000. This option is only available with the top-spec Max trim.
No changes have been made under the hood of the SUV. The Comfort Edition comes in 2 engine options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 82hp and 115Nm. It can only be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 110hp and 190Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox (where it produces 205Nm of torque).

Final Thoughts
Citroen has started accepting bookings for the Comfort Edition Aircross. The regular range of the SUV is priced between Rs 8.89 lakh and Rs 14.37 lakh. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, and Skoda Kushaq.
