Conclusion

Earlier this year, the automaker had discontinued the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine for Jeep Compass due to the new emission norms. However, it plans on bringing back the turbo petrol engine later this year. A new Overland Edition has also been added to the Jeep Merdian lineup. The SUV rivals MG Hector and Tata Harrier along with other premium SUVs like Citroen C5, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Hyundai Tucson.
