Volkswagen Tayron follows the design language of the newer crop of VW SUVs. Since the SUV is just a larger version of the Tiguan, the automaker has not made any radical changes to its design. The front bumper in the top-spec variant has been slightly reworked to carry a bolder look. The only difference along the sides is the Tayron’s larger profile. The wraparound tail lamps at the back are connected by a light bar.

The similarities continue inside the SUV as well. The dashboard layout of the Volkswagen Tayron is identical to Taigun’s. It features a three-screen setup consisting of an infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and another display on the passenger’s side. The infotainment system can be controlled by a backlit slider placed at the bottom of the unit. It will run the latest MIB4 OS from Volkswagen. The centre console houses a wireless charging pad, drive selector, audio controls, cupholders, and a storage compartment. The steering wheel is mounted with physical control buttons for the essential functions of the SUV.
