Prices for Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq to be hiked by up to 2% next month

Skoda Auto is the latest automaker to announce a 2024 price hike for its SUVs. Automakers across the board have already announced a price for their major offerings that will come into effect in January 2024. These automakers include Maruti Suzuki, MG Motor, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Hyundai, BMW, and Audi among others.

Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq to get pricier next year

Skoda Auto cites the rising supply, input, and operational costs as the reason behind the 2% price hike. The exact variant-wise breakdown of the prices will be revealed next month. Currently, the Skoda Kushaq is priced between Rs 10.89 lakh – Rs 20 lakh. Prices for the Slavia start at Rs 10.89 lakh as well and go up to Rs 19.12 lakh. Meanwhile, the Kodiaq range starts at Rs 38.50 lakh and goes up to Rs 39.99 lakh.

Elegance Editions for Skoda Kushaq and Slavia launched in India

Skoda Kushaq and Slavia share the same powertrain under the hood. There are two engines on offer. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power of 115hp and 175Nm peak torque. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

Updated Skoda Kodiaq 4x4 launched at Rs 37.99 lakh

Powering the Kodiaq SUV is the 2.0-litre TSI EVO turbo-petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 187hp and 320Nm of torque. The SUV gets an ‘All Wheel Drive’ and can reach 0-100kmph in just 7.8 seconds. Skoda claims that the updated engine is 4.2% more fuel efficient. The Kodiaq offers six drive modes – Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, and Snow.

Conclusion

Skoda is also offering year-end discounts for these cars before the imminent price hike. Skoda Kushaq gets discounts of Rs 1.25 lakh while Slavia and Kodiaq get offers worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh respectively. The automaker is also expected to launch a facelift model for the Kodiaq in India soon. It will also introduce the Superb sedan in the coming months.
