Toyota India launches ‘Wheels on Web’, its first-ever online retail sales platform

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the launch of ‘Wheels On Web’ (WOW), its first-ever online retail sales platform in India. Currently, Wheels on Web is only operational in the Bengaluru region. The new online retail experience allows users to book, purchase, and obtain delivery of their desired Toyota model in the comfort of their homes.

Wheels on Web: Here are all the features offered by Toyota’s online retail platform

Wheels on Web is Toyota’s Business to Customer platform, enhancing customer experience in the digital space and enabling hassle-free buying. Through WOW, customers can browse the various Toyota models on offer, experiencing an immersive digital viewing of the cars’ exteriors, interiors, colours, and variants. Customers can book and purchase a car online and have it delivered to them at their doorstep in the stipulated time. Buyers can also go through the different trade-off options for their existing car, with online evaluation on offer. The website also gives you the option to through the various accessory packs for a selected model. 

There are multiple payment options on Wheels on Web. Online payments can be made through a secured payment gateway. Booking amount/full payment or downpayment can be made completely online. Once a purchase has been made, you can track its status from booking to delivery on WhatsApp. You can also log in to the ‘Wheels on Web’ website to track your order.

Mr Atul Sood, Vice President, Sales and Strategic Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “In line with our core philosophy of ‘Customer First’, we are continuously striving to deliver ever-better services to the consumers. We believe that our newly launched ‘WOW’ (Wheels on Web), online retail platform, will revolutionize the car buying experience in India.”

Further, he added, “Our objective here is to provide value-added services to enable convenient car purchasing processes, facilitating end-to-end transaction including secured online payments as a one-stop-shop. With the availability of our varied models on this platform, we are confident of meeting the growing needs of the consumers at large”.

In 2021, Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced a virtual showroom platform where customers could explore the Toyota models on offer with a 360-degree immersive experience. The virtual showroom has been integrated with Wheels on Web. Right now, buyers can explore various Toyota models like HyCross, Hilux, Legender, Camry, Fortuner, and Innova Crysta on WOW.
