Tata Motors announces discounts of up to Rs 35,000 on Tata Safari, Harrier, and more

Tata Motors has announced special discounts of up to Rs 65,000 on Tata Safari, Harrier, Altroz, and Tigor. These discounts are up for grabs throughout the month of January. The CNG variants of Tigor and Tiago also get a price cut. The discounts come in the form of cash benefits and exchange bonuses. Additional discounts have also been made available on the unsold MY2022 units of these models. No discounts have been offered on Tata’s EV lineup.

Tata Safari

Maximum discount: Rs 35,000 / Rs 65,000 (MY2022 units)

Buyers can avail of a discount of up to Rs 35,000 on Tata Safari. Tata is offering a cash benefit of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. The MY2022 Safari gets a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000. Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 170hp and 350Nm peak torque. Recently, Tata also added the XMS and XMAS variants to Safari’s lineup.

Tata Harrier

Maximum discount: Rs 35,000 / Rs 65,000 (MY2022 units)

Tata Harrier gets a total discount of Rs 35,000 which, like Tata Safari, includes a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. The MY2022 units of Harrier get a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and exchange benefits worth Rs 40,000. Tata Harrier and Tata Safari are powered by the same engine and underpinned by the same platform. Like the Safari, Tata also added the XMS and XMAS variants to Tata Harrier as well.

Tata Tigor

Maximum discount: Rs 20,000 / Rs 45,000 (MY2022 units)

Tata Tigor gets a cash discount of Rs 10,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 taking the total discount up to Rs 20,000. This discount is also available on the Tigor CNG. The MY2022 units of Tigor petrol get a total discount of Rs 40,000 meanwhile those of Tigor CNG get a total discount of Rs 45,000. Tigor is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that puts out 86hp. Buyers also get the option of a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The compact sedan rivals the popular Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.

Tata Altroz

Maximum Discount: Rs 20,000 / Rs 35,000 (MY2022 units)

Tata is offering maximum discounts of up to Rs 20,000 on the petrol and diesel variants of Altroz. These discounts come in the form of cash benefits worth Rs 10,000 and exchange bonuses worth Rs 10,000. The unsold MY2022 units of Altroz get a total discount of up to Rs 35,000. Tata Altroz is one of the most mechanically versatile cars produced by Tata, being available in two petrol and one diesel engine options.

Conclusion

These discounts will be made available throughout the month of January, but the amount may vary across different dealerships. In other news, Tata will be launching a Special Edition of the Harrier in the coming weeks, followed by a facelift in mid-2023.
