Tata Motors announces year-end discounts for Tata Safari, Harrier, Altroz, and Tiago

Tata Motors has announced special year-end discounts of up to Rs 65,000 on Tata Safari, Harrier, Altroz, and Tiago. These discounts are up for grabs throughout the month of December. The CNG variants of Tigor and Tiago also get a price cut. The discounts come in the form of cash benefits, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts. No discounts have been offered on Tata’s EV lineup.

Tata Safari

Maximum Discount: Rs 65,000

Buyers can avail of a discount of up to Rs 65,000 on the Tata Safari. Tata is offering a cash benefit of Rs 30,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000 on the Safari. Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 170hp and 350Nm peak torque. Recently, Tata also added the XMS and XMAS variants to Safari’s lineup.

Tata Harrier

Maximum Discount: Rs 65,000

Tata Harrier gets a total discount of Rs 65,000 which, like Tata Safari, includes a cash discount of Rs 30,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, and corporate benefits of up to Rs 5,000. Tata Harrier and Tata Safari are powered by the same engine and underpinned by the same platform. Like the Safari, Tata also added the XMS and XMAS variants to Tata Harrier as well.

Tata Tiago

Maximum Discount: Rs 40,000

Tata Tiago receives a total discount of up to Rs 40,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000, and corporate benefits worth Rs 5,000. Tata is offering these discounts on the CNG variant of Tigor as well. Powering the Tiago is a 1.2-litre petrol engine that puts out 86hp. Buyers also get the option of a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Tata Tigor

Maximum Discount: Rs 35,000

Tata Tigor gets a cash discount of Rs 20,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000, taking the total discount up to Rs 35,000. This discount is also available on the Tigor CNG. Tigor is powered by the same engine as Tiago. The compact sedan rivals the popular Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.

Tata Altroz

Maximum Discount: Rs 35,000

Tata is offering maximum discounts of up to Rs 35,000 on the diesel variants of Altroz. Petrol variants with a manual gearbox get a total discount of up to Rs 20,000. Meanwhile, the petrol variant with automatic transmission gets a total discount of Rs 30,000. Tata Altroz is one of the most mechanically versatile cars produced by Tata, being available in two petrol and one diesel engine options.

Conclusion

These discounts will be made available throughout the month of December, but the amount may vary across different dealerships. In other news, Tata recently updated the Tigor EV with new features like multi-mode regen, connected car technology- Zconnect, smartwatch connectivity, and iTPMS. The automaker also bumped up the driving range of the EV to 315km.
