Tata Curvv: New engine details
The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, direct injection turbo petrol engine powering the Tata Curvv produces a maximum power output of 125hp and 225Nm of torque. This is 5hp and 55Nm more than the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine powering the Nexon SUV. The new Hyperion engine will be exclusively available for the top-spec variants of the Curvv. The entry-level variants will get the 1.2-litre turbo petrol unit from the Nexon.
The Hyperion engine is made of aluminium and features variable valve timing tech and a water-cooled turbocharger. The latter is responsible for the improved torque numbers. The boost in power and torque output will benefit Tata Curvv, given it has a larger wheelbase than the Nexon. The Curvv EV is expected to share its powertrain with the Nexon EV.

Inside, Tata Curvv will get a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel. Its dashboard layout will be similar to that of the Nexon but the automaker may introduce new interior colour options for the crossover.

The front fascia of the crossover is identical to the Nexon. The LED headlamps are nestled inside edgy housings on the bumper while the LED DRLs flank either end of the grille. A thin light strip runs along the grille and connects the DRLs. In profile, Tata Curvv flaunts a sloping roofline, giving it a distinct coupe look.
