Tata Altroz facelift unveiled in India

Tata Motors has taken the wraps off the facelifted model of the Altroz hatchback. The Tata Altroz facelift gets cosmetic tweaks and feature upgrades, but continues to offer the same powertrain options. The premium hatchback will be made available in 5 variants – Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S. Prices for the facelifted model will be announced in the coming days.

2025 Tata Altroz facelift: Everything you need to know

The Tata Altroz facelift features split LED headlamps and brow LED DRLs, The 3D front grille sports a new look featuring a rectangular pattern. The front bumper and fog lamp housings have also been updated. The hatchback retains its profile but gets flush-fitting illuminated door handles and new 16-inch alloy wheels. At the back, it gets a sporty bumper. The new T-shaped LED taillamps are connected by a sleek LED light bar.

Inside, the Tata Altroz facelift gets a new dashboard design. The cabin looks inspired by the Tata Curvv and Nexon. The hatchback has twin 10.25-inch displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. Other features include a two-spoke steering wheel, automatic AC controls, rear AC vents, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an air purifier, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and more.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Tata Altroz facelift continues to be offered in 3 powertrain options. The 1.2-litre NA petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 87hp and 115Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 89hp and 200Nm. Lastly, the CNG engine puts out 73hp and 103Nm. All engines can be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.2L NA petrol engine can also be paired with a 6-speed DCT. Tata has not mentioned whether the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine of the Altroz Racer will be made available on the facelifted model.

Final Thoughts

The Tata Altroz facelift will be available in 5 colour options: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White. Bookings for the hatchback have not been opened yet. Prices for its current model start at Rs 6.65 lakh and go up to Rs 11 lakh. The premium hatchback rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.
