Suzuki has launched the fourth-gen Dzire sedan in the Philippines. The launch took place at the 2025 Manila Auto Show. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire sold in India was launched in November 2024. However, its Philippines counterpart comes with a hybrid powertrain under the hood. Maruti Suzuki will be adding this powertrain to the India-spec Dzire in the coming months.

Suzuki Dzire: A closer look at the hybrid engine specs
The Suzuki Dzire launched in the Philippines is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z12E engine. This engine is linked to a 12-volt hybrid system. The sedan generates a combined power output of 82hp and 112Nm of torque. These output numbers are similar to the India-spec Dzire.
Cosmetically, the Suzuki Dzire launched in the Philippines is identical to the one sold in India. It gets sleek ‘Crystal Vision’ LED headlamps, LED DRLs, a wide grille with six horizontal slats, and chrome highlights. The sedan is available in 14 and 15-inch two-tone, precision-cut alloy wheels. At the back, it flaunts 3D Trinity tail lamps.
Inside, the Suzuki Dzire features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 4.2-inch coloured MID. Other features include cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, keyless entry, a 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof, and wireless charging.
Speaking on the launch of the Suzuki Dzire, Mr Norihide Takei, Director and General Manager for Automobile Division, Suzuki Philippines, said, “We are proud to unveil the All-New Dzire Hybrid—a vehicle designed to give every Filipino a stylish yet practical driving experience. With advanced features, hybrid efficiency, and premium styling, it redefines what a compact sedan can be.”

Final Thoughts
Prices for the Suzuki Dzire in the Philippines start at PHP 920,000 for the GL CVT Hybrid variant (~Rs 13.90 lakh) and go up to PHP 998,000 (~Rs 15.08 lakh) for the GLX CVT Hybrid variant. In India, the Dzire is priced between Rs 6.84 lakh and Rs 10.19 lakh. The hybrid variants will cost a significant premium over their petrol counterparts. Maruti Suzuki is currently testing the Dzire Hybrid in India. The model also carries an ADAS package. The sedan rivals the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze in India.
