Since 2023, automakers have been integrating ADAS packages into their updated midsize SUVs and sedans, leading to fiercer competition. The Skoda Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUVs are next in line to receive a Level 2 ADAS package. Cars like Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Hyundai Creta are already equipped with ADAS.

The two new facelifts will be underpinned by the same platform as their outgoing counterparts. This MQB-A0-IN platform was developed by Skoda’s teams in India and the Czech Republic. It was first introduced on the Kushaq SUV in 2021. The MQB platform for India focuses on high localisation, low cost of ownership, and quick turnaround times. This platform can accommodate a Level 2 ADAS package.
