Renault India has launched special ‘Night & Day’ Editions for all three of its offerings in India. The special edition for Renault Kiger and Triber is available in the RXL trim. Meanwhile, the Kwid hatchback’s Day & Night Edition is based on the RXL (O) variant. The special editions get some cosmetic changes and feature upgrades but remain unchanged under the hood. Renault India will begin accepting bookings for the three cars from tomorrow.

Renault Kiger, Triber, and Kwid: What’s New on the Day & Night Editions?
Here’s what the price list for the Day & Night Editions of Renault Kiger, Triber, and Kwid looks like.

All three Day & Night editions get a new dual-tone Pearl White paint scheme with a black roof and A-pillars. The special edition Renault Kiger gets piano black wheel covers, piano black inserts in the front grille, a piano black garnish on the tailgate, and a rear nameplate finished in piano black. The Triber Day & Night edition receives full piano black wheel covers, door handles, rear nameplate, and OVRMs. Lastly, the limited edition Kwid hatchback gets piano black flex wheels, piano black inserts in the front grille, and a rear nameplate finished in piano black.
Inside, the Day & Night editions for Renault Kiger and Triber get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity. They also get a rearview camera. The special edition for the Triber MPV gets powered rear windows as well.
No changes have been made under the hood on all three cars. The Kwid is available in two different petrol engines. The 1.0-litre petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission and produces a maximum power of 69hp. Meanwhile, the 0.8-litre petrol engine comes only in manual transmission and produces a maximum power of 54hp.
Renault Kiger also comes in two different engine options. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power of 100hp and the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 72hp. The Triber also uses the 1.0-litre NA petrol engine from the Kiger.

Conclusion
The Day & Night edition of Renault Kiger costs a premium of Rs 15,000 over the RXL trim. The special edition Triber fetches Rs 20,000 more. However, prices for the special edition Kwid remain unchanged from the RXL (O) trim. Renault will produce only 1,600 Day & Night edition units for all three cars.
