MG Motor India has launched a limited edition of the Windsor EV to celebrate the all-electric MPV’s first anniversary in India. The MG Windsor EV was launched in India in September 2025. Following the opening of its booking window, it garnered over 15,000 bookings in just one day. As of now, the electric MPV has sold over 40,000 units domestically. The ‘Inspire’ Edition will be produced in limited numbers. Its prices start at Rs 16.65 lakh. The BaaS model is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh.

MG Windsor EV ‘Inspire’ Edition: What’s new?
The Inspire Edition of the Windsor EV gets a Pearl White paint shade along with a contrasting Starry Black finish for the roof and pillars. The OVRMs and alloy wheels are blacked out as well. The bespoke accessory pack for the special edition adds Rose Gold accents to the bumpers, doors, and front fascia. The ‘Inspire’ badging can be found on the D pillars.
The seating of the Inspire Edition dons the ‘Sangria Red’ shade. The ‘Inspire’ lettering is embroidered on the headrests. The rest of the cabin is finished in black and flaunts gold accents. The 3D mats and cushions follow the theme. The key gets a new leather cover. The centre armrests are blacked out too. In terms of feature additions, it gets rear sunshades, a 4K camera, and a ‘Watch Wellness’ app for the infotainment system. This app gives the user access to a library of wellness videos and lets them book servicing appointments. Buyers can also opt for illuminated sill plates and a special animation for the panoramic sunroof.
Other features that have been carried forward from the standard model include a 15.6-inch free-floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, aero lounge seats, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, a powered driver’s seat, wireless charging, ambient lighting, a 9-speaker audio system, and a panoramic sunroof. In terms of safety, the EV gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, parking cameras at the front and the rear, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS package.
The Inspire Edition is based on the 38kWh battery variants of the Windsor EV. It is powered by a front-mounted single electric motor. This motor generates a maximum power output of 136hp and 200Nm of torque. It can go up to 332km on a full charge.

Final Thoughts
MG Motor will produce only 300 units of the Inspire Edition. It can be booked online at the automaker’s website. The standard model is priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 15.81 lakh. It rivals the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV400, and Tata Nexon EV.
