Maserati GranTurismo: Everything you need to know

The 2nd-gen Maserati GranTurismo gets some minor cosmetic tweaks over its predecessor. It retains the oval grille and the iconic ‘Trident’ logo but the headlamps are now sleeker. These headlamps are integrated with L-shaped LED DRLs. The front fender houses three rectangular air vents. In profile, the coupe sports the signature glasshouse design. At the back, the tail lamps are connected by a chrome strip. The all-electric Folgore, which will launch in 2025, will sport a similar design. It will get some EV-exclusive changes like a dark copper finish on the badging and some blacked-out elements.

In terms of features, the Maserati GranTurismo gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster. There’s an additional 8.8-inch touchscreen display right below the infotainment system for climate controls. The coupe is equipped with a Sonus Faber sound system.

The luxury coupe shares its engine with the Maserati MC20. This 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine produces a maximum power of 490hp and 600Nm of torque in the Modena trim. The Trofeo trim of the Maserati GranTurismo puts out 550hp and 650Nm. Both trims get All-Wheel Drive as the standard configuration. The Modena can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds while the Trofeo can accomplish the same feat in just 3.5 seconds.

The ‘Folgore’ EV gets a 92.5kWh battery pack that can power the electric coupe for 560km. The three 300kW motors can generate a maximum power output of 760hp and 800Nm of torque. The Folgore can go from 0-100kmph in just 2.7 seconds.
