Maruti Suzuki Dzire: What do the spy shots suggest?
The front fascia of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is remarkably different from the next-gen Swift that was launched in India last month. The Dzire gets a new grille and bumper along with a fresh design for the LED headlamps. The LED headlamps are larger in size compared to the Swift and have a more boxy, rectangular design. Like the new Swift, the Dzire could also have projector headlamps for all variants.
Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will share its layout and instrumentation with the Swift. It will rock the new 9-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, 4.2-inch instrument cluster, Head-Up Display, automatic climate control, wireless charging, push start/stop, and more. The sedan will be the first offering in its segment to have an electric sunroof.
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire will also share its powertrain with the Swift hatchback. It will be powered by the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E engine which produces a maximum power output of 80hp and 112Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. It offers a mileage of 25.75kmpl on the Swift.
