Mahindra XUV 3XO has secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. The SUV was crash-tested by Bharat NCAP in October 2024. This safety rating applies to all variants of the SUV. The 3XO was launched in India in April 2024. Since then, the compact SUV has gained a lot of popularity in the country. The Mahindra Thar Roxx and XUV400 SUVs were also tested by BNCAP and awarded a 5-star rating.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Bharat NCAP test results explained
Mahindra XUV 3XO scored 29.36 points out of a possible 32 in the Adult Occupants Protection (AOP) test. In the frontal offset deformable test, the SUV offered good protection to the driver’s and passenger’s head, neck, and abdomen. The driver’s chest and right leg showed adequate protection while the left leg showed marginal protection. The passenger’s chest and legs were well protected. In the side movable deformable barrier test and side pole impact test, the SUV offered good protection to the head, chest, and abdomen.
Mahindra XUV 3XO scored 43 points out of a possible 49 in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) test. It got a Dynamic score of 24 points (max. 24), a CRS installation score of 12 points (max. 12), and a Vehicle assessment score of 7 points (max. 13). The SUV was crash tested using test dummies for 18-month-old and 3-year-old children.
Mahindra XUV 3XO is packed with 35 standard safety features. It features 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a 360-degree camera, a Blind View Monitor and more. The SUV is also equipped with a Level 2 ADAS package with features like Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keep Assist.
