Kia Seltos facelift: What does the teaser reveal?

The India-spec Kia Seltos facelift gets a few changes over the international model. The teaser reveals a reworked bumper, extra body cladding and new inserts in the fog-lamp housing, and redesigned LED headlamps and DRLs. The inserts in the fog lamp housing are body coloured on the facelift. The profile of the SUV remains unchanged but the higher variants may get a new design for the alloy wheels. Kia has also gone for a new downward-facing tail lamp design on the Seltos facelift.

Kia has also offered a look inside the SUV in its teaser drop. The Seltos facelift gets a new dashboard layout, featuring a 10.25-inch twin-screen infotainment system and digital driver display. The infotainment system will come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also gets dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. The Kia Seltos facelift will be the automaker’s first offering in India with an ADAS package.

Under the hood, the Kia Seltos facelift will retain the same engine options, with no changes or tweaks. It will be continued in the previous 3 variants – the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.4L turbo petrol motor, and 1.5L diesel engine. Transmission options will remain the same as well – with a 6-speed MT, 6-speed torque converter, and a 7-speed DCT automatic on offer.
