Jeep Grand Cherokee, Meridian, and Compass get massive year-end discounts

Jeep India is offering significant year-end discounts on three of its offerings in the country – Grand Cherokee, Meridian, and Compass. Jeep Grand Cherokee gets the maximum discount package, worth Rs 11.85 lakh. These discounts are available on the unsold MY2023 units of the three SUVs and will expire on December 31. The automaker recently added a 2WD variant to the Compass lineup.

Jeep Grand Cherokee

Maximum Discount: Rs 11.85 lakh

Jeep Grand Cherokee gets a maximum discount package of up to Rs 11.85 lakh. Prices for the SUV were hiked by Rs 1 lakh earlier this year. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that puts out a maximum power of 272hp and 400Nm peak torque. This engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. There are four terrain modes on offer – Auto, Sport, Mud, and Snow. Jeep Grand Cherokee is not offered in a diesel powertrain in India.

Jeep Meridian

Maximum Discount: Rs 2 lakh

The Meridian SUV gets discounts worth up to Rs 2 lakh. This includes exchange benefits of up to Rs 25,000 and special discounts for doctors, defence personnel, and more. The SUV is offered with a sole 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces a maximum power output of 170hp and 350Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission. The entry-level Limited MT and AT variants of the Meridian were discontinued by the automaker earlier this year.

Jeep Compass

Maximum Discount: Rs 90,000

The Compass SUV gets total discounts and benefits worth up to Rs 90,000. The Compass is powered by the same 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine as the Meridian. The automaker will introduce a 1.3-litre petrol engine for the Compass next year. The SUV is available in a total of 5 trims – Sport, Longitude, Longitude+, Limited, and Model S. The Longitude+, Limited, and Model S trims also get 2WD AT variants.

As mentioned earlier, these discounts will be available till the end of the year. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and variants. It is also subject to the availability of stock.
