Hyundai i20 N Line facelift launched in India at Rs 9.99 lakh

Hyundai India has launched the new Hyundai i20 N Line facelift in India at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. Earlier this month, the automaker had launched the i20 facelift at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh. The N Line edition of the hatchback gets some mechanical and cosmetic changes.

Hyundai i20 N Line facelift: Everything you need to know

The Hyundai i20 N Line facelift is available in two variants – N6 and N8. Here is what the price list for the hatchback looks like.

The cosmetic changes on the N Line have been kept to a minimum. It gets all the updates on the i20 facelift along with some red accents and an N Line logo. The rear bumper design gets a minor design tweak. The hatchback gets two exhaust pipes along with a chrome highlight bridging the two tail lamps. The N Line variant of the i20 also gets six colour options.

The red highlights make their way inside the Hyundai i20 N Line facelift as well. The cabin receives an all-black theme with red stitching on the upholstery. Parts of the dashboard and steering get a red finish as well. Keeping up with the black and red theme, the hatchback also receives red ambient lighting.

Other features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, cruise control, a 7-speaker Bose sound system, a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, and more. Safety features include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), 3-point seat belt and seatbelt reminder for all seats.

The biggest change on the Hyundai i20 N Line facelift comes under the hood as the hatchback gets the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that has now been discontinued on the standard i20. This engine produces a maximum power output of 120hp and 170Nm of torque. The N Line variant gets a 6-speed manual transmission instead of a 6-speed iMT gearbox. There is also an option for a 7-speed DCT.

Prices for the Hyundai i20 N Line facelift start at Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 12.32 lakh. The hatchback rivals the likes of Maruti Baleno, Tata Altroz, Tata Altroz iTurbo, and Toyota Glanza.
