The upcoming Hyundai i20 facelift gets minor design tweaks on the grille and the headlamps. It now carries two V-shaped inlets on either side of the front bumper. The Hyundai logo has been moved from the grille to the bottom of the bonnet. In profile, the hatchback remains the same. Hyundai may slightly alter the alloy design for the India-spec version of the i20. At the back, the i20 gets a design update for the taillamps.
Inside, the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift retains its general layout. However, it gets some vital feature upgrades. The dashcam from the recently launched Exter is expected to make its way to the i20 facelift as well. The hatchback could also feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a very basic ADAS safety package. An electric sunroof could also be made available on the facelifted model.
No changes are expected under the hood, as the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift will retain the 2 powertrain options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine can produce a maximum power output of 83hp while the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine can put out 120hp. The naturally aspirated petrol engine gets a manual and CVT gearbox as transmission options. The turbo petrol engine can be mated to an iMT or DCT gearbox.
