Hyundai Motor India has added a new SX Tech variant to the Exter SUV’s lineup. The Hyundai Exter SX Tech is priced at Rs 8.51 lakh and sits below the SX(O) and SX(O) Connect variants. Furthermore, the automaker has updated the S and S+ trims of the SUV with new features. It also added a new ‘Corporate’ trim to Aura’s lineup.

The new SX Tech variant of Hyundai Exter gets projector headlamps, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a dashcam with dual camera, a smart key with push button start/stop, a smart electric sunroof, and a Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) with a digital display.
The S+ variant of the SUV has been updated with a smart electric sunroof, 15-inch dual-tone steel wheels, a rear camera with static guidelines, an 8-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, and an electrically adjustable outside rearview monitor. The updated S variant gets the infotainment system, steel wheels, and rear camera from the S+ variant along with features like Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Management, and Electronic Stability Control.
Powering the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The Exter shares this engine with the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, i20, and Venue. The CNG variants produce a maximum power output of 69hp and 95.2Nm of torque. It does not get an AMT gearbox option. The manual petrol variants of the Exter offer a mileage of 19.4 kmpl, while the AMT variants offer 19.2 kmpl. In CNG guise, Hyundai claims a mileage of 27.10 kmpl for the Exter
