Hyundai Creta N Line: Here’s what the two variants have to offer

Hyundai Creta N Line will be made available in two variants – N8 and N10. These variants will likely be based on the SX and SX(O) variants of the Creta. If that is the case, the N8 variant will not get the Level 2 ADAS package which grabbed the headlines when the facelifted SUV made its debut earlier this year. It will also lack premium features like the 8-speaker Bose audio system, ventilated front seating, and more.

The Hyundai Creta N Line N10 will be the top-spec variant and will sport all the premium features. It will get the Level 2 ADAS package which packs safety features like Forward Collison Warning & Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Blind Spot Collison Warning & Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, and more. It will also be equipped with other features like a dual-zone climate control system, an air purifier, a Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, USB Type-C ports for the rear passengers, and more.

The Creta gets a dual-screen setup inside, with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a similar-sized digital instrument cluster. The N Line variants of the SUV will flaunt an all-black interior theme with red accents throughout the dashboard and upholstery. Cosmetic updates along the exterior include a sportier front fascia marked by a sleeker grille and redesigned bumper, 18-inch alloys, and red accents across the body. The SUV will also get red brake callipers and special N Line badging.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta N Line will sport the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine as the rest of the lineup. This engine produces a maximum power output of 160hp and 253Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 6-speed manual gearbox has been made available specially for the N Line Creta.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, the Hyundai Creta N Line can be booked for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Prices for the SUV will be revealed upon launch. Expect it to cost a premium of Rs 50,000 over the variants that it is based on. In India, the Creta SUV rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Skoda Kushaq.
