Honda Amaze gets discount offers worth up to Rs 43,000

Honda Amaze is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 41,000 for the month of September. These benefits can be availed in the form of cash discounts, free accessories, loyalty bonuses, and corporate discounts. These discounts will expire on September 30 and their amount may vary among dealerships across the country.

Honda Amaze: September discounts explained

Honda Amaze gets a cash discount worth Rs 10,000. Buyers can also get free accessories worth up to Rs 12,349 with the sedan. Existing Honda customers get a loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000. Furthermore, the automaker is offering a corporate discount worth Rs 6,000 along with a special exchange offer worth Rs 10,000. With the loyalty bonus and corporate discounts added to the mix, buyers can get up to Rs 43,000 off on the Honda Amaze.

Powering the Amaze is a 1.2-litre iVTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 89hp and 110Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. Honda discontinued the 1.5-litre iDTEC diesel engine for the Amaze last year due to its failure to comply with emission norms. This engine was capable of producing a peak power output of 100hp and 200Nm peak torque.

Earlier this month, Honda launched its debut midsize SUV in India, Honda Elevate, at an introductory price of Rs 11 lakh. The Elevate is available in four variants, with the top-spec ZX variant fetching Rs 16 lakh. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine on the Elevate produces a maximum power output of 121hp and 145Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Manual variants of the Elevate offer a fuel efficiency of 15.31kmpl while the CVT variants put up a mileage of 16.92kmpl.

Back in April, Honda hiked the prices for the Amaze sedan by Rs 12,000. Prices for Honda Amaze start at Rs 7.05 lakh and go up to Rs 9.66 lakh. It rivals other sedans like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
