Toyota Kirloskar Motor has added a new GX (O) variant to the Innova HyCross range. The GX (O) variant unseats the GX variant as the top-spec model of the MPV. Prices for the Toyota Innova HyCross GX (O) start at Rs 20.99 lakh and go up to Rs 21.13 lakh. Toyota has kicked off the delivery rollout as well. The new variant adds more than 10 advanced comfort and technology features to the MPV.

Toyota Innova HyCross GX (O): What’s new?

The GX (O) variant of Toyota Innova HyCross gets a bunch of new features. The top-spec variant of the MPV comes with front LED fog lamps, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear defogger. Inside, the MPV gets Chestnut-themed interiors, soft-touch materials in the dashboard and door panels, mid-grade fabric sheets, and a rear sunshade. The 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay. It also gets automatic climate control and a panoramic view monitor.

Toyota Innova HyCross debuts in India, bookings open

The GX (O) variant of the Innova HyCross is available in 7 and 8-seater configurations. Interestingly, the 8-seater model is priced lower than its 7-seater counterpart. The latter fetches Rs 21.13 lakh. This is because the 8-seat version is not available with the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and retractable sunshade.

The top-spec Toyota Innova Hycross is available in seven paint shades – Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Super White and Avant Garde Bronze Metallic.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Toyota Innova HyCross GX (O) is powered by the 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 174hp and 205Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. The MPV offers a fuel economy of 16.13kmpl.

As mentioned earlier, Toyota Kirloskar Motor started the delivery rollout of the new variant of the Innova HyCross on the day of its launch. Earlier this month, the automaker had reopened the bookings for the ZX and ZX (O) variants of the MPV. The Innova HyCross rivals the likes of the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and Kia Carnival.
