Fuel efficiency specs for Mahindra XUV 3XO revealed in new teaser

Mahindra has dropped yet another teaser for its upcoming SUV. The Mahindra XUV 3XO will launch in India on April 29. The new teaser reveals the fuel efficiency numbers of the SUV, along with its sprint time and driver’s display. A facelift to the XUV300, the 3XO will be available in three powertrain options.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Fuel efficiency numbers revealed

As per the latest teaser, the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO will offer a mileage of 20.1 kmpl. This is likely the mileage offered by the diesel engine. The 3XO will be made available in three powertrain options – a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, another 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The 1.2L mStallion engine produced a maximum power output of 131hp and 230Nm torque. The automaker will introduce a new 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox for this engine. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine puts out 110hp while the diesel engine generates 117hp. Both engines can be paired with manual and AMT gearboxes. Mahindra XUV 3XO will also be available with multiple drive modes. The SUV can go from 0-60kmph in 4.5 seconds.

Inside, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will flaunt a 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster along with another 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This is the same infotainment system as the one on the XUV400. Previous teasers have confirmed physical HVAC controls on the SUV. It also gets a panoramic sunroof – a first-in-class feature. It will only be offered on the top-spec segments. Other features on the SUV include a 360-degree camera, rear vents for the AC, and ventilated front seating.

Talking about the cosmetic updates, the Mahindra XUV 3XO features vertically aligned headlamps and a new pattern for the front grille. LED DRLs run around the headlamps. The tailgate also gets a new design and the LED tail lamps are connected by a light bar.

As mentioned earlier, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will launch on April 29. Prices for the SUV will be revealed upon launch. The Mahindra XUV300 is currently priced between Rs 7.99 lakh – Rs 14.76 launch. Upon launch, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue facelift, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Nissan Magnite.
