Entry-level Mahindra XUV300 W2 launched in India at Rs 7.99 lakh

Mahindra has added a new entry-level W2 variant to the XUV300 lineup. Mahindra XUV300 W2 has been priced at Rs 7.99 lakh. The automaker has also added an entry-level trim to the XUV300 TurboSport lineup. The XUV300 TurboSport W4 costs Rs 9.29 lakh. All the W4 variants of the SUV have also been updated with a sunroof.

Mahindra XUV300 W2 and TurboSport W4: Key Details

The new W2 variant of Mahindra XUV300 is available in a single powertrain and transmission options. It gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 110hp and 200Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The company has not shared the feature list for the W2 variant, but it is bound to lose some features found on the XUV300 W4.

The new W4 variant of Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport gets the 1.2-litre three-cylinder, direct-injection, turbo petrol engine that can produce a maximum power of 131hp and 230Nm peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission on the W4 variant. Priced at Rs 9.29 lakh, W4 is the new base variant for the TurboSport.

Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport gets features like an electric sunroof, projector headlamps, dual-zone climate control, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV is also equipped with safety features like 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, and hill assist.

Mahindra has added a panoramic sunroof to all variants of the XUV300 and XUV300 TurboSport. In India, Mahindra XUV300 and XUV300 TurboSport rival Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue facelift, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
