Citroen C3 Aircross: Here are all the details

Citroen C3 Aircross is underpinned by the automaker’s CMP modular platform, which is also found in the C3 hatchback. The C3 Aircross is bigger than its hatchback counterpart, standing 4.3 metres long with a wheelbase of 2,671mm. The midsize SUV clears the ground at 200m and has a boot capacity of 511 litres with the third-row seating removed.

Citroen C3 Aircross shares a lot of its design elements with the C3 hatchback. Up front, the C3 Aircross gets the same split headlamp setup as the hatchback. The two layer grille gets chrome and piano black inserts. The Y-Shaped DRLs are positioned just above the headlamps. Along the sides, the C3 Aircross gets additional cladding around the doors and wheel arches. The 17-inch alloys get an X-shaped design. The SUV shares its taillamp design with the C3 hatchback as well.

Inside, the Citroen C3 Aircross gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV comes with 5-seat and 7-seat configuration options. AC vents have been made available for the third row in the 7-seat version of the SUV. The 5-seat C3 Aircross has a boot capacity of 444 litres.

Citroen C3 Aircross retains the hatchback’s powertrain as well. This 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 110hp and 190Nm peak torque on Citroen C3. Manual and automatic transmission options will also be made available for the SUV. Citroen may also introduce an all-electric version of the C3 Aircross later this year.
