2023 Tata Harrier & Safari: What’s new?

The biggest feature upgrade on the new Tata Harrier and Safari is the expanded ADAS package that now includes functions like forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, and lane change alert. The two SUVs also get a 360-degree camera and panoramic sunroof. Safari’s sunroof is lined with ambient lighting on the inside.

The touchscreen infotainment system on the two SUVs has also been upgraded to a 10.25-inch unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Voice control features have also been integrated into the new infotainment console. On top of that, the new Harrier and Safari get a 7.0-inch instrument cluster as well.

Things remain the same under the hood as the updated Tata Harrier and Safari models continue to be offered with the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 170hp and 350Nm peak torque. 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are also on offer. This engine is now compliant with the upcoming RDE norms.
