The company has put a price tag for A6 between Rs 55.96 lakh and Rs 60.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It comes in 2 variants: Premium Plus and Technology. Now the company offers the car in only one engine option i.e 2.0-litre TFSI diesel engine that produces 245 PS of power and 370 Nm of peak torque.

Safety is ensured with eight airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program, traction control, front and rear parking sensors.
