Audi Q5 Bold Edition launched in India at Rs 72.30 lakh

Audi India has launched a special ‘Bold Edition’ for the Q5 lineup ahead of the festive season. The Audi Q5 Bold Edition is priced at Rs 72.30 lakh. This makes it Rs 1.50 lakh more expensive than the top-spec Technology variant of the Q5, which it is based on. The Bold Edition will be produced in limited numbers. It gets a few cosmetic changes but remains unchanged mechanically.

Audi Q5 Bold Edition: What’s on offer?

The Bold Edition of the Audi Q5 gets a special black styling package which applies a sleek, high-gloss finish to elements like the grille, Audi emblems (front and rear), window surrounds, exterior mirrors, and roof rails. The Bold Edition is available in five colour options – Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, District Green and Manhattan Gray.

Inside, the Audi Q5 Bold Edition is equipped with features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, Bang &Olufsen premium sound system with 19 speakers and 755-watt output producing 3D sound effects, comfort key for keyless entry, park assist with 360° camera, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch Response, 3-zone air conditioning, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and more.

Powering the Audi Q5 Bold Edition is the familiar 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 265hp and 370Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The SUV can go from 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds with a top speed of 240 km/h. There are six drive modes on board via Audi Drive Select – Comfort, Dynamic, Individual, Efficiency, Auto, and Off-Road.

The Audi Q5 has always been amongst our best-seller models and we are confident that this new Bold Edition will only attract more buyers and brand fans.”

Conclusion

Prices for the regular Audi Q5 lineup start at Rs 65.51 lakh. Other Audi SUVs like the Q7, Q3, and Q3 Sportback are also available with Bold Editions. The Q5 rivals Volvo XC60, BMW X3, Lexus NX, and Mercedes Benz GLC in India. Audi is currently texting the next-gen version of the Q5 in Europe.
