2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift spied for the first time

Mahindra XUV300 facelift is set to hit the Indian market next year. The sub-4-metre SUV was recently spotted on a road test. The test mule was under heavy camouflage, but the spy shots reveal some details about the SUV’s exterior as well as the interior specifications. Latest rumours also suggest that the XUV300’s design could be inspired by the automaker’s Born Electric series.

2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift: What do the spy shots suggest?

The newly surfaced spy shots of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift hint towards a new design for the LED headlamps and DRLs up front. The front bumper could also receive a few tweaks. The facelift will sport a two-part grille with a larger central air intake unit.

At the back, the XUV300 looks inspired by Mahindra’s upcoming Born Electric series. The light strip connecting the tail lamp looks similar to the one on the BE concepts. The number plate has been shifted to the bumper from the tailgate. While not much is known about the tail lamp design, they appear sleeker on the facelift. Along the sides, the Mahindra XUV300 facelift will receive a new design for its alloy wheels.

There are some interesting changes on the inside of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift as well. The SUV gets a larger floating display for its infotainment system. The AC vents have also been repositioned to accommodate this larger display. The centre console will also receive a few design tweaks. The facelift model could also get a fully digital instrument cluster.

The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 131hp and 230Nm torque. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre turbo petrol puts out 110hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a power output of 117hp. Mahindra offers manual and automatic transmissions with the XUV300.
