Maruti Suzuki has sold 1.50 lakh units of the Fronx SUV since its launch. Maruti Suzuki Fronx was launched in India on April 24 2023, and it took the automaker just 10 months to sell 1 lakh units of the SUV. Having crossed the 1 lakh sales landmark in January 2024, it took Maruti Suzuki just 4 more months to sell 50,000 more units of the Fronx.

Out of the 1.50 lakh sales, 1,34,735 units of the Fronx were sold in FY2024. In April 2024, Maruti Suzuki recorded 14,286 sales for the Fronx, leaving just 979 units to hit the 1.50 lakh mark. Going by the sales trend, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is confirmed to have crossed the 1.50 lakh landmark in May.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx is available in two powertrain options. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine can produce a maximum power output of 100hp and 147Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Also on offer is the 1.2-litre K Series naturally aspirated petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 90hp and 113Nm peak torque. This engine can also be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Fronx start at Rs 7.51 lakh and go up to Rs 13.04 lakh. Its CNG model fetches Rs 8.46 lakh. The SUV rivals the likes of Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
