Ola S1 X

Ola S1 X is available in three variants with prices starting from Rs 89,999. It replaces the S1 Air as the new entry-level S1 electric scooter. The base variant of the Ola S1 X gets a 2kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 91 km. The top speed for this variant has been capped at 85kmph. It can go from 0-40kmph in 4.1 seconds.

The two higher variants of the Ola S1 X match the S1 Air in terms of engine and battery specs. They generate a maximum power output of 6kW, with the top speed being capped at 90kmph. The mid and top-spec S1 X variants can go from 0-40kmph in 3.3 seconds. They receive a 3kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 151km.

In order to bring down the cost, Ola S1 X makes compromises on certain features. Instead of a TFT display, it gets an LCD panel. It also gets some unpainted black plastic panels on its body. Talking about the underpinning, the Ola S1 X is based on the new Gen 2 e-scooter platform. It gets drum brakes for the front and rear wheels. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back. The mid-spec variant costs Rs 99,999, while the top-spec S1 X+ fetches Rs 1,09,999.

Ola S1 Pro Gen 2

As the name suggests, the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 is based on the new Gen 2 platform. The new S1 Pro Gen 2 can now hit a maximum power output figure of 11kW. Its top speed has also increased to 120kmph. The scooter can accelerate from 0-40kmph in 2.6 seconds now. The driving range has also been bumped up to 195km.

The new underpinning comes with certain changes to the structure of the electric scooter. The S1 Pro Gen 2 gets a flat floorboard, similar to the S1 Air and S1 X. At 116kg it weighs 5kg lighter than the outgoing model. However, the boot space capacity is now 34 litres, which is 2 litres less than the previous model.
