Kia Carens launched in India: SUV Stance With A Spacious 3rd Row

The brand new Carens was launched today by Kia through a youtube live stream. The MD & CEO of Kia India, Mr Tae-Jin Park, along with the Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing of Kia India, Mr Hardeep Singh Brar, were present on the occasion. Kia Carens India price was revealed today.

The Kia Carens is a multi-seater car coming with 6 and 7 seater options. It provides you with all the sophisticated features of a family mover car, along with an SUV stance. The advanced safety standards it comes with is one of its most highlighted features. Its built-in active safety measures like electronic stability control, downhill brake control & hill start assist control helps take utmost care of the safety and security of your family while travelling. It also comes with a Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, 6 airbags, remote climate control and an air purifier with virus and bacteria protection, thereby taking care of the hygiene of its customers as well.

The Kia Carens provides the best in-cabin space to all its occupants (considered as its USP). It is said to offer the longest wheelbase in the 3rd-row seating category.Its one-touch double folding 2nd-row seat tackles one of the primary issues you have to face with every multi-seater car. The 2nd-row 60:40 split sliding & reclining seats easily tumble down with the touch of a single button, providing you with a seamless entry into the 3rd row.

Its Infotainment system comes with a 10.25-inch HD touch screen navigation. The bose premium audio 8 speaker system ensures to provide you with the most immersive sound quality. The Kia Connect offered herewith further consists of 66 smart features. It connects your smartphone, car and infotainment system into a single unit, hence offering a secure, convenient and joyful experience.

The Kia Carens claims to offer a high resale value as well, along with a low cost of maintenance at Rs. 0.37/km. It comes with 5 trims– Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus. You are offered with 3 choices of engines: 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. It offers a mileage of 16.5kmph for the petrol engine and 21.3kmph for the diesel engine. It comes in 8 different colour options including imperial blue, moss brown, sparkling silver, intense red, and more. The availability of the colour options varies with the type of trim you choose.

The Kia Carens is being offered at the introductory price of Rs 8.99 lakhs. The other 4 trims are priced at Rs 9.99lakhs, Rs 13.49lakhs, Rs 14.99lakhs and Rs 16.99lakhs respectively.

Kia also is providing the MyKia fully integrated app, which is a one-stop solution for all the Kia products.
