Audi Q7 Bold Edition launched in India at Rs 97.84 lakh

Audi India has launched the Bold Edition for the Q7 SUV at Rs 97.84 lakh. Earlier this month, the automaker had launched Bold Editions for the Q3 and Q3 Sportback SUVs. Audi Q7 Bold Edition is based on the top-spec trim of the SUV and demands a premium of Rs 3.39 lakh. The Bold Edition for the Q7 SUV will be produced in limited numbers. It gets some styling changes but remains mechanically unchanged.

Audi Q7 Bold Edition: What’s new?

The Audi Q7 Bold Edition gets a new Black Styling Package which provides a high-gloss black finish on the grille, Audi logo (front and rear), window surrounds, exterior mirrors (OVRMs), and roof rails. There are four exterior colour options on offer – Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue & Samurai Grey.

Other features on the Audi Q7 Bold Edition include Matrix LED headlamps with signature DRLs, LED tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators, seven drive modes (Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road and Individual), and more.

Inside, the Audi Q7 Bold Edition gets a Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D sound system with 19 speakers and a total power output of 730 watts, genuine cricket leather upholstery, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, a smartphone interface, 4-zone climate control, keyless entry, electrically foldable third-row seats, and more. Safety features on the limited edition SUV include 8 airbags, cruise control with speed limiter, park assist plus, a 360-degree camera, lane departure warning, and more.

Powering the Audi Q7 Bold Edition is the 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system which produces a combined power output of 340hp and 500Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The Q7 can go from 0-100 kmph in 5.6 seconds. Its top speed has been capped at 250kmph.

The Audi Q7 Special Edition is designed for those who want to make a powerful statement and discover the perfect synthesis of comfort, sophistication, and cutting-edge technology.”

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, the Audi Q7 Bold Edition is available in limited numbers. Bookings for the SUV are now open. The Bold Editions for Q3 and Q3 Sportback are priced at Rs 54.65 lakh and Rs 55.71 lakh respectively. The Q7 rivals the likes of Land Rover Defender, Volvo XC90, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
