It took the Wagon R just over 5 years to accomplish this sales feat. Since its launch in 1999, the Wagon R has achieved more than 32 lakh cumulative sales. In FY2023, the automaker sold 2,12,340 units of the hatchback. This makes the Wagon R one of the most popular cars in India right now.

The hatchback is available with three powertrain options. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is only available on the ZXi Plus variants, producing a maximum power output of 88hp and 113Nm of torque. The 1.0-litre petrol engine on the lower engine puts out 66hp and 89Nm. In a CNG guide, this engine produces 56hp and 82Nm.
