Renault Triber gets more features on lower variants

In a bid to boost sales, the lower trims of the Renault Triber have been updated with more premium features from the top trims. The facelift version of the MPV was launched in India in July 2025 at a starting price of Rs 6.30 lakh. Its prices currently start at Rs 5.81 lakh. There are 4 trims on offer – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Following the update, the entry-level trim has become dearer by Rs 5,000.

Renault Triber: What’s new?

Here is the updated price list for the Renault Triber.

The mid-spec Evolution trim has received steering-mounted controls, day/night IVRM, and a rear cabin lamp. Previously, these features were offered on Techno and higher trims. Speaking of the Techno trim, it gets a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a driver’s seat armrest, rear defogger, 12V power socket for the third row, front tweeters, and electrically foldable OVRMs. The top-spec Emotion trim has been updated with automatic climate control.

The second row seats get a one-touch fold and tumble function, which makes access to the third row much easier. The middle row seats can now be completely folded flat, giving a boost to the MPV’s boot capacity, which now stands at 1,065 litres. Safety features of the Triber remain unchanged. It offers 6 airbags as standard, along with a 360-degree camera, ABS, front parking sensors, cruise control, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor, traction control, hill hold assist, and ISOFIX child anchorages on higher variants.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Renault Triber continues to be powered by the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The automatic gearbox is available on the top-spec Emotion trim only.

Final Thoughts

Renault will update the Triber’s powertrain later this year. The MPV will be available in turbo-petrol and CNG options. Currently, it rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Rumion, and Kia Carens in India.
