The facelifted version of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza is set to go on sale next year. The automaker has started testing the compact SUV on Indian roads. It was spotted testing for the first time earlier this week. The current model of the SUV was launched back in July 2022. It was updated to offer 6 airbags as a standard feature earlier this year.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift: Here’s what we know so far
The spy shots give a glimpse of the rear end of the Brezza facelift. The test mule, draped in heavy camouflage, had cutouts for the LED taillamps. They exude a sleek look and are likely connected by an LED light bar. It could be a split light strip like the one on Maruti Suzuki Victoris. The alloy wheels were left undisguised on the test mule. They don an all-black look, but it remains to be seen whether Maruti will also offer a dual-tone variant.
The interior of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has not been revealed in the spy shots that have surfaced so far. The facelifted model will likely be equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment system than the current-gen model, which rocks a free-standing 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ display. A fully digital instrument cluster will supplement this display. We expect features like ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and rear sunshades to make the cut. It remains to be seen whether Maruti will offer a Level 2 ADAS package on the facelifted model.
The current-gen model packs features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, an Arkamys-tuned sound system, wireless charging, HUD, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, ambient lighting, as well as voice-command operation.
No changes are expected under the hood of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift. It will be powered by the 1.5-litre K15C DualJet engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 101hp and 136Nm of torque. It can be mated to a manual or automatic transmission. In a CNG guise, the SUV produces a power output of 88hp and 121.5Nm of torque. It offers a mileage of 25.51km/kg. The CNG variants are available with a manual transmission only. Rumours suggest that the facelifted model will have an underbody CNG tank.

Final Thoughts
The current-gen Brezza range starts at Rs 8.26 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.01 lakh. We expect the facelifted model to demand a premium of up to Rs 50,000. It will likely go on sale in the first quarter of 2026. Upon launch, it will rival the Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Syros, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Tata Nexon.
