Auto giant Mahindra has finally teased its most awaited facelift launch of the year, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio. Although the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the looks of the car, it states the new SUV’s tagline as ‘The Big Daddy of SUVs’. Codenamed Z101, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio launch date is expected to be sometime around June this year, as it would mark its 20th birthday.
Test mules of the next-gen 2022 Mahindra Scorpio have been spotted multiple times across the country while its spy shots have been doing rounds on the internet for a year. The teaser video doesn’t reveal much of the new SUV, except its dual-chambered LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. Its spy shots, however, disclose its butch styling along with an upright nose. It is also speculated to be the second SUV model to get Mahindra’s new twin-peaks logo, after XUV700.
