Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Renault Kwid in India, the automaker has launched a limited edition model of the hatchback. The ‘10th Anniversary Edition’ of the Kwid is priced at Rs 5.15 lakh. With an AMT gearbox, it fetches 5.64 lakh. It is based on the mid-spec Techno trim of the hatchback. Renault will produce only 500 units of the special edition model.

Renault has updated the nomenclature of the trim levels of the Kwid. Here are the prices for all the variants of the hatchback.

The Anniversary Edition of the Kwid hatchback is available in 2 dual-tone exterior paint shades – Fiery Red with Black Roof and Shadow Grey with Black Roof. The grille has a yellow accent, and the doors and C-pillar have new yellow decals. Buyers can opt for a gloss black flexi wheel option too.
Inside, the special edition model has a leather-wrapped steering wheel with contrasting yellow stitching. There are yellow accents on the seats, door panels, and around the touchscreen infotainment system. The headrests of the front seats have the ‘10th Anniversary Edition’ logos. In terms of feature editions, the special edition gets puddle lamps and illuminated scuff plates. The top-spec Climber variant has been updated with 6 airbags. 3-point seatbelts for all seats are now available as a standard safety feature across all variants of the hatchback.
Things remain the same under the hood, as the special edition model of Renault Kwid continues to be powered by the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 68hp and 91Nm of torque. It can be linked to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

As mentioned earlier, Renault will produce only 500 units of the Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition. The standard model is priced at Rs 4.30 lakh. The hatchback rivals the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and S Presso in India.
