India-bound Suzuki XL7 facelift revealed at the Indonesia Motor Show 2026

The Suzuki XL7 facelift has broken cover at the Indonesia Motor Show 2026. It will make its way into India later this year as the Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift. The MPV is expected to retain the design of its Indonesia-spec counterpart. The MPV goes by ‘XL7’ in Indonesia due to its 7-person seating capacity.

Suzuki XL7 facelift: What’s new?

The XL7 facelift stands at dimensions of 4,450mm x 1,775mm x 1,710mm, similar to the outgoing model. Its front fascia features a larger and bolder grille finished in gloss black. The chrome-plated Suzuki logo is positioned at the centre of the grille. The reworked front bumper has C-shaped air intake units on either side. These units house the fog lamps at their base. A silver trim at the bottom of the bumper acts as a faux skid plate. The LED headlamps are integrated with LED DRLs and turn indicators.

Along the sides, the midsize MPV rests on all-black 16-inch alloy wheels. The door handles, roof rails, wheel arch cladding and OVRMs are also finished in black. There aren’t any big changes on the rear section, but that may change on the India-spec Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift. Suzuki has introduced 2 new colour options for the Indonesia-spec XL7 – Marble Black and Ice Greyish Blue-Black.

Inside, the Suzuki XL7 facelift features a Metallic Hagane Dark Silver-accented instrument panel ornament. This accent also garnishes the steering wheel and centre console. The 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The MPV uses an Arkamys audio system. Other features include a 360-degree camera, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). These features are already present on the India-spec XL6.

No changes have been made under the hood of the Suzuki XL7 facelift, as the MPV continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine. The higher variants of the MPV come with a mild-hybrid setup. The engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the India-spec XL6 facelift will continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 103hp and 139Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. In a CNG guise, the MPV puts out 88hp and 121.5Nm.
