Honda Unicorn updated with new features

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has updated the Unicorn 160 with new features and updated its pricing. Honda Unicorn is one of the oldest HMSI offerings in India, staying active for more than 2 decades. After receiving a few mechanical tweaks and feature upgrades, the motorbike is now priced at Rs 1.19 lakh. Take a look at what’s new on the Unicorn 160.

Honda Unicorn: What’s new?

The new Honda Unicorn retains its engine, but it is now compliant with OBD2B regulations. Since it has been updated, it puts up slightly better numbers. The 162cc air-cooled single-cylinder fuel-injected engine produces a maximum power output of 13hp at 7,500rpm and 14.58Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motorbike weighs 140kg with a full 13-litre fuel tank. The seat reaches a height of 715mm.

Honda Unicorn gets a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a hydraulic mono-shock at the rear. It also gets 240mm disc brakes for the front wheel and a 130mm drum unit for the rear wheel. The Unicorn also gets a single-channel ABS. The motorbike rests on 18-inch wheels. Both tyres on the Unicorn are tubeless. The front tyre measures 80/100 while the rear one measures 100/90.

The 2025 Honda Unicorn 160 gets a new digital instrument cluster. This panel displays information related to the gear position, Eco indicator, and service due indicator. There is a USB Type-C charging port on the instrument cluster as well. In terms of cosmetic updates, the motorbike gets a new LED headlamp with chrome accents.

Conclusion

The 2025 Honda Unicorn is available in three colour options – Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. It rivals the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 150, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, and Bajaj Pulsar N150. In other news, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will reveal the all-electric Activa scooter next month, with its launch slated for the first quarter of 2025.
