The Honda 0 Alpha is finally making its debut in India this winter. The electric SUV will be introduced in the country on December 2. Its concept model broke cover back in October 2025 at the Japan Mobility Show. In March 2026, Honda began testing the SUV on Indian roads. Honda 0 Alpha SUV: Here’s what we know so far
The production-spec version of the Honda 0 Alpha flaunts the boxy look of the concept model. It follows Honda’s ‘Thin, Light, and Wise’ design language. The rear section of the SUV is almost vertical, with the chunky bumper jutting out. The LED tail lamps are stacked vertically on either side of the large windscreen. The front fascia has a flat nose with an illuminated Honda logo. It also houses the charging port. The spy shots give a small glimpse into the elaborate LED headlamp setup.Â

Recent spy shots have partly revealed the interior setup of the Honda 0 Alpha. The dashboard flaunts a large free-floating central touchscreen infotainment system. A smaller digital instrument cluster is placed in its traditional spot behind the steering wheel. The central display will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The flat-bottom, three-spoke steering wheel has paddle shifters and control buttons. There are plenty of physical switches on the centre console as well. These could be the controls for seat ventilation, climate control, and other functions.

Honda has confirmed that the 0 Alpha will have a 2,800mm wheelbase. This will translate into a lot of legroom for the rear passengers as well as good storage capacity for the boot. We expect the EV to be decked with premium features like rear AC vents, a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, connected car tech, and an ADAS package.

Honda has also confirmed 2 battery pack options for its upcoming SUV. These LFP batteries will most likely be available in 65kWh and 75kWh sizes. The launch model will be powered by a front-mounted electric motor, but Honda may introduce an AWD model later down the line. More details are awaited as we get closer to launch.
