Volkswagen India is offering discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh on its major offerings this month. The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line, launched in April 2025, is available with discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh this month. The Virtus sedan and Taigun SUV have also received big offers. The Golf GTI is the only offering in Volkswagen’s Indian portfolio that hasn’t received any discounts this month.

Maximum Discount: Rs 3 lakh
The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line has received the biggest discount out of all the VW offerings. The premium SUV is available with offers worth up to Rs 3 lakh. This includes a cash offer worth Rs 2 lakh. The Tiguan R Line is a CBU import. It was launched back in April at Rs 49 lakh. It is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque.
Maximum Discount: Rs 2.50 lakh
The Topline 1.0L TSI AT variant of the Taigun SUV is available with discounts worth up to Rs 2.50 lakh this month. The GT Line and Highline variants get Rs 1.30 lakh and Rs 1.12 lakh off, respectively. The entry-level Comfortline variant has gotten Rs 80,000 shaved off its asking price. Prices for the Taigun start at Rs 11.80 lakh and go up to Rs 21.10 lakh. The facelifted version of the Taigun is currently being road-tested in India. It is expected to launch by the end of the year.
Maximum Discount: Rs 2 lakh
The Topline 1.0L TSI AT variant of the Virtus sedan gets Rs 2 lakh off. The price of the Highline variant has been brought down to Rs 12.77 lakh. It receives additional bonuses worth up to Rs 70,000. The GT Line trim gets Rs 50,000 off. The entry-level Comfortline trim’s asking price has been set at Rs 10.54 lakh. It is typically priced at Rs 11.56 lakh. The Virtus sedan shares its powertrain with the Taigun SUV.
The 1.5-litre TSI generates a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. The other option that the automaker offers to its customers is a 1.0-litre TSI engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque. It can be mated to a 6 manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

As mentioned earlier, these discounts are only available on the Volkswagen Tiguan R Line, Taigun, and Virtus. The offers will expire on August 31.
