Monthly discount figures for Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Fronx, and XL6 revised

Maruti Suzuki has increased its monthly discounts for the Grand Vitara, Fronx, and XL6. Earlier, the automaker had bumped up the discount package for the Jimny by Rs 1 lakh. Maruti’s Arena offerings are also available with lucrative discounts this month but their figures have not been revised yet.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.40 lakh

At the start of the month, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara was available with discounts worth up to Rs 74,000. The automaker has added discounts worth up to Rs 66,000 to the existing package.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is available in two engine variants – a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine with mild hybrid technology and Toyota’s 1.5-litre TNGA petrol engine with a strong hybrid system. The former puts out 103hp and 137Nm, while the latter produces 92hp and 137Nm by itself and 115hp and 137Nm in a strong hybrid setup. The electric motor alone produces a maximum power of 80hp with 141Nm peak torque.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Maximum Discount: Rs 77,000

The turbo-petrol variants of the Fronx are available with additional discounts of up to Rs 20,000, taking the total package to Rs 77,000. The standard variants of the SUV are now available with discounts of up to Rs 32,500 (an increase of Rs 5,000). No changes have been made to the discount package of the CNG model.

The Fronx SUV is available in two powertrain options. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine can produce a maximum power output of 100hp and 147Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Also on offer is the 1.2-litre K Series naturally aspirated petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 90hp and 113Nm peak torque. This engine can also be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki XL6

Maximum Discount: Rs 40,000

Earlier available with offers of up to Rs 30,000, Maruti has added Rs 10,000 to the discount package for the XL6, taking the total figure to Rs 40,000. The CNG variants get Rs 25,000 off. The XL6 is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 103hp. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Conclusion

These discounts will be made available throughout the month of June. Discounts may vary depending on the variant and the region. The corporate discounts on offer are available for Maruti’s approved list of corporates and public sector undertakings.
