Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta+ (O): What’s on offer?

Being a mid-spec model, the Maruti Suzuki Delta+ (O) does not get the option of the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Instead, it is available with a 1.2-litre K Series naturally aspirated petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 90hp and 113Nm peak torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Top-spec variants of Maruti Suzuki Fronx are available with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 100hp and 147Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

In terms of features, the Delta+ (O) variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx gets six airbags instead of dual front airbags. This makes it Rs 15,000 dearer than its Delta+ counterparts. Other features on the SUV include a 9.0-inch Smart Pro Play+ infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Head Up Display, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera.

Cosmetically, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx remains unchanged. It stands at dimensions of 3,995mm x 1,550mm x 1.765mm and rocks the NEXWave grille and NEXTre crystal block. The Fronx rests on newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels which are unique to it and cannot be found on any other Maruti SUV yet.
