Year-end discounts offered on Tata Safari, Harrier, and more

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.50 lakh on the Safari, Harrier, Tigor, Tiago, and Altroz. These discounts are available on the unsold MY2023 stock of these cars only. Interestingly, these discounts do not extend to the automaker’s EV range. The facelifted models for Tata Safari and Harrier were launched in India back in October. However, these models do not get any discounts.

Tata Safari

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.50 lakh

The pre-facelift models of Tata Safari get a total discount package of Rs 1.50 lakh. The value of the discount package may vary among the different variants of the SUV. Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that can produce a maximum power output of 170hp and 350Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Tata Harrier

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.50 lakh

The Harrier is one of Tata’s most famous SUVs in India. Like the Safari, it also gets a discount package worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh. The two SUVs share the same platform and powertrain. The 2.0-litre diesel engine puts on 170hp and 350Nm on the Harrier as well. While the facelifted versions of the two SUVs get cosmetic and feature upgrades, Tata has retained the 2.0-litre diesel engine under the hood.

Tata Tigor

Maximum Discount: Rs 65,000

Tata’s affordable sedan, Tigor, gets a maximum discount of up to Rs 65,000. The CNG variant of the sedan gets Rs 55,000 off. Prices for the Tigor start at Rs 6.30 lakh and go up to Rs 8.95 lakh. The all-electric variant of the Tigor starts at Rs 13.75 lakh. Meanwhile, Tigor CNG costs Rs 8.20 lakh. The 1.2-litre petrol engine on the Tigor produces a maximum power output of 86hp. In a CNG configuration, the power output is reduced to 70hp.

Tata Tiago

Maximum Discount: Rs 60,000

The Tiago hatchback gets discounts of up to Rs 60,000. Its CNG variants get discounts worth up to Rs 50,000. The Tiago shares its powertrain with the Tigor. Prices for the petrol hatchback start at Rs 5.60 lakh and go up to Rs 8.20 lakh. The Tiago CNG costs Rs 8.10 lakh. The all-electric Tiago is the cheapest EV in India at Rs 8.69 lakh.

Tata Altroz

Maximum Discount: Rs 45,000

Tata is also offering discounts of up to Rs 45,000 on the Altroz hatchback. The Altroz is Tata’s bestselling hatchback in India and also the most versatile one. It is offered in three powertrain options – petrol, diesel, and CNG. All three variants receive a similar discount package. The 1.2-litre petrol engine on the hatchback puts out a maximum power output of 86hp, the same as the Tiago and Tigor. Meanwhile, the diesel and turbo-petrol engines put out 90hp and 110hp respectively.

Conclusion

These discounts come in the form of cash offers, exchange benefits, and corporate bonuses. Buyers can avail of these offers till December 31. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock. As mentioned earlier, the facelifted models of Tata Safari and Harrier are not a part of this offer.
