The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line is set to launch in India in March. The 7-seater SUV is a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) import. Its assembly process commenced last week at Volkswagen’s plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The Tayron is the spiritual successor to the Tiguan Allspace, which was discontinued in 2021. It is positioned above the Tiguan R-Line in VW India’s portfolio, making it the automaker’s flagship offering in the country. As we head closer to launch, the powertrain specs of the SUV have been revealed.
