Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a price hike for all variants of the Rumion MPV. Toyota Rumion is now dearer by Rs 13,000. This price hike is applicable across all variants and powertrains. Toyota has not made any changes to the MPV. The cosmetics, feature list, and powertrain of the Rumion remain unchanged.

Toyota Rumion launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10.29 lakh

Toyota Rumion is powered by the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that powers the Ertiga. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 103hp and 137Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter gearbox. The Rumion CNG generates a maximum power output of 88hp and 121.5Nm of torque. It has a fuel efficiency of 26.11 km/kg. The petrol variant offers a mileage of 20.51 km/l.

In terms of features, the Toyota Rumion MPV packs a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, connected car tech, a digital MID and an analogue instrument cluster, an automatic AC unit, four airbags, and ESC. The MPV can house 7 people, with no other seating configurations on offer. It carries forward the black and beige upholstery from its Maruti Suzuki sibling, Ertiga.

Final Thoughts

Toyota Rumion comes with a standard warranty of 3 years/1,00,000km (whichever comes first), which can be further extended to 5 years/2,20,000km. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6, and Kia Carens.
